This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

Wagner, Ph.D., Curator/Tour Director DON RAY (b. 1958, Akron, OH) grew up in Springfield, Ohio where his interest in art extends as far back as he can remember. Don learned about fresh water subjects as a boy fishing and netting local streams and lakes. Like so many others, Don is a self-taught artist, who studied the work of masters from "The Golden Age of Illustration" such as N.C. Wyeth, Fredrick Remington. But Don also learned from contemporaries like George Schelling and, in particular, Stanley Meltzoff, who personally shared his knowledge and time with Don as a mentor.
